Wedding bells!

Around this time of the year people are busy with weddings, birthdays and baby showers.
I thought this will be a good time to share some wedding invites I made using my Stampin Up! products.
I saw a card on Sandy Hoefakker's blog  http://www.stampinsandy.com/wedding-invitations/.
I really loved it and I decided to case the card.
This is what my version of the card looks like.

I used the red card stock in the Stampin Up! getting started  pack as the card base. On top of that I had a grey card stock which I embossed using the  elegant bouquet TIEF. The words where printed off on a whisper white card stock which I  covered with a sheet of vellum that I embossed using the elegant bouquet TIEF.

I went a head to make a welcome card. This card is going to be at the top of the board where the table/sitting arrangements are to be places. I also made the table/sitting arrangement cards.

In addition to the card stock, ribbon and vellum I used for the card; I added 5/8  silver brad I got from the Stampin up! clearance rack and a red rhinestone.

I also used the Stampin Up Basket and Blooms Bigz L die to make coordinating favour baskets  which will be stuffed with candies for all the guests.

I wish all the couples getting married this summer a happy married life

Two by Two!!

Ever since i set my eyes on the two by two stamp, I just knew I had to do something with it. Although this stamp is retired , it was top on my list for things to buy from retired products list.
I am happy I did because the stamp set came in handy when 2 friends had babies a month ago.
Today I will be sharing the 2 cards i made using this stamp set.

The paper i used for the cards are from the getting started card stock.
The sentiment i have on the girl card is the greeting at the bottom of the two by two stamp, which i stamped separately on whisper white card stock.
I embossed the baby girl card with the perfect polka dot TIEF while i decided to leave the baby boy card plain.

I thought it will be a good idea to put a little spark to the inside of the card. And this is what I did to add that WAO factor.
